BankKeeping Landing Page Redesign

The Brief

BankKeeping is India's only B2B bank loan management platform for SMEs. They detect excess interest charges, hidden fees, and compliance gaps in business loans, then recover the money. Their closest comparison is GoodScore, but that's a B2C product. BankKeeping operates in a category of one.
The problem: the existing website wasn't converting. The product is technical (bank statement analysis, drawing power validation, MCLR-to-repo rate corrections), but the audience is SME business owners and CFOs who aren't banking experts. The landing page needed to make a complex fintech product feel simple, credible, and urgent enough to request a demo.

The Audience

Indian SME owners and finance heads managing ₹1 Cr+ in bank exposure across multiple lenders. These are people who've been overcharged by their banks for years and don't know it. They're skeptical, busy, and not looking for another SaaS dashboard. They need to see real numbers and real proof before they'll fill out a form.

Research & Discovery

I studied how B2B fintech companies globally structure their landing pages, particularly those selling audit, compliance, and recovery tools. Most of them over-rely on feature lists and jargon. The ones that convert well lead with the pain point, show social proof early, and make the product feel like a service (not just software).
BankKeeping's real advantage isn't the tech alone. It's the combination of intelligent software that finds overcharges and a dedicated expert team that recovers the money. That "software + humans" story became the structural backbone of the page.
I also looked at what Indian SME owners respond to: specific rupee amounts, named clients with real titles, and trust signals like "250+ SMEs" and "works with all banks." Abstract benefit statements don't land with this audience. Concrete numbers do.
Design Decisions
Hero Section The headline "Your bank is charging you more than you agreed to" is confrontational on purpose. It creates immediate tension. The subline resolves it: "BankKeeping detects every extra rupee your bank charged you and gets it back." Two CTAs: one action-oriented ("Show Me What My Bank Owes Me"), one informational ("See How It Works").
The Software + Experts Split Right below the hero, I split the value proposition into two visual blocks: "Intelligent Software Finds it" and "Dedicated Expert Team Gets it back." This frames BankKeeping as more than a tool. It's a team working on your side.
Live Dashboard Mockup Instead of a generic product screenshot, I designed a simulated Loan Intelligence Dashboard showing real-looking data: ₹12,14,800 in overcharges detected, ₹4,04,933 monthly savings, 10-minute report time. This lets the visitor feel what using the product is like before they sign up.
Testimonials with Real Numbers Each testimonial card leads with the financial outcome (₹2.67 Crore Found, ₹34 Lakhs Recovered, ₹26 Lakh Saved Annually) before the client quote. The numbers do the selling. The quotes add credibility. Every testimonial includes the client's name, title, company, industry, and city.
Logo Carousel A scrolling marquee of 35+ client logos. This section exists purely for trust. When an SME owner sees companies from their industry or city in the list, the product stops feeling abstract.
4-Step Process "Upload. Identify. Prove. Recover." Four steps, plain language, no jargon. The goal was to make the product feel effortless: upload a bank statement, get a report, get your money back.
6-Tool Breakdown BankKeeping has 6 distinct tools (Bank Analyzer, CMA Builder, Compliance Monitor, DP Validator, Sanction Analyzer, Financial Analytics). I gave each one a numbered card with a one-line description. Enough to communicate breadth without overwhelming the visitor.
Pricing Calculator An interactive calculator that lets visitors estimate their fee based on their total sanction limit and number of lenders. This replaces a static pricing table and makes the visitor engage with the page.
FAQ Accordion Six questions covering data security, refund process, coverage, and timeline. These are the objections that stop someone from filling out the demo form. The FAQ section handles them before the visitor has to ask.

Why It's Not Flashy (And Why That's the Point)

This page has no gradient overlays, no parallax hero videos, no animated counters racing to big numbers. That was deliberate.
BankKeeping's audience is SME owners and CFOs in their 40s and 50s managing crores in bank exposure. They're not impressed by visual spectacle. They're suspicious of it. A flashy fintech landing page signals "startup trying too hard." A clean, structured, number-driven page signals "these people know what they're doing."
Every design choice serves conversion, not decoration. The dashboard mockup exists to make the product tangible. The testimonials lead with rupee amounts because that's what this audience trusts. The 4-step process is plain because the product is genuinely simple to use. The FAQ section is there because these buyers have real objections that need real answers before they'll hand over a bank statement.
The restraint is the design. A page that looks like it was built by someone who understands banking, not someone who just learned After Effects.
That ties directly into our positioning as a designer who thinks about audience and conversion, not just aesthetics. It's also the kind of thinking that separates a $150 logo project from a $1,200 brand identity engagement.

The Build

I designed the full page and hand-coded it in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, working inside WordPress's HTML blocks. The animations, scroll interactions, logo carousel, and section transitions are all custom code. The form and pricing calculator were handled separately by the BankKeeping team.

The Result

A landing page that takes a visitor from "I didn't know my bank was overcharging me" to "Show me what I'm owed" in a single scroll. The page serves as BankKeeping's primary conversion tool for inbound SME leads.
