Mocha Bliss is a conceptual brand project, the brief was to "Create a new visual identity for Mocha Bliss that reflects its artisanal coffee expertise and cozy atmosphere, appealing to both regulars and new customers."
To craft a warm and friendly environment, the typeface for the both the logotype and primary font was chosen for it's handwritten-note feel; creating the feeling of a person sending a letter to another person. Simple, human & inviting.
The colour palette needed to convey both warmth and artisanal feel, the hue of orange and the two shades of brown carry that feeling by design.
The reality is, the primary typeface isn't useful in every sense and one could argue not eligible in every use. A secondary sans-serif typeface with it's own quirks and playful design was chosen to partner with the main typeface and carry the load of standard comms.
The primary pattern is a monogram of the brands name, dancing all over the whatever it's placed on to highlight the warm and easy environment one will find at Mocha Bliss
The brands tone of voice is further communicated through its main platform - Instagram, here with the power of imagery the brand is able to further talk and illustrate visually exactly the type of space it is and all it offers.
