Project Goal

I was hired by a goalkeeper glove brand based out of Charlotte, NC that manufactures and distributes soccer goalkeeper gloves. I was brought in 2018 to provide direction in their digital marketing efforts as well as oversee the growth of the brand in social media. The company back then particularly wanted to focus on Instagram as an audience growth driver. When I started, their Instagram account had a total follower count of 4,883 and a 4.35% engagement rate.

Solution

1. Developed an active and engaged online community around the Instagram brand account. 2. Leveraged both branded and user-generated content with clear call-to-action on posts to nurture customer leads and moving them up the brand's marketing and sales funnel. 3. Crafted an Instagram content plan and an overall digital marketing plan that was tailored to the brand's specific target audience with the objective of driving traffic to the e-commerce site as well as to the brand’s content and other online assets.
Currently, its Instagram account has over 37,000 followers and still growing. The e-commerce company is now the fastest growing glove brand in the US online and the number one glove brand on Amazon.com.
