Objective Create a dating app from scratch that integrates a Stories feature. The app leverages location-based proximity to display user-generated stories, fostering meaningful connections while prioritizing privacy and security.

Design Process

Research & Insights:

Conducted surveys and interviews to understand target users’ needs, preferences, and concerns about privacy in dating apps.

Identified a gap: users wanted to share more casual, day-to-day moments to spark authentic conversations.

Conceptualization:

Mapped the full user flow, from onboarding to profile creation, matching, and messaging.

Added a Stories feature as a central element, integrated seamlessly with user profiles and messaging.

Wireframing & Prototyping:

Designed wireframes for the app, focusing on intuitive navigation and a sleek interface.

Prototyped the entire user journey, including onboarding, profile creation, viewing/matching, and sharing stories.

User Testing:

Tested prototypes with potential users to refine the experience.

Addressed feedback on proximity-based story relevance and privacy concerns.
