Schuman Cheese, a renowned cheese company, sought to revamp the packaging design for their Eat Delve brand, which is widely distributed in every Costco Wholesale store across the United States.

Objective:

The objective of this case study was to create a visually appealing and engaging re-packaging design that showcased the essence of summer peaches, capturing the attention of consumers and highlighting the unique qualities of Schuman Cheese's Eat Delve products.

Process:

  1. Market Research: Thorough market research was conducted to understand current trends, consumer preferences, and competitor packaging designs within the cheese industry. This analysis provided valuable insights to shape the creative direction and ensure differentiation for the Eat Delve brand.
  2. Summer Peach Inspiration: The concept of summer peaches was chosen as the central theme for the re-packaging design. The goal was to evoke feelings of freshness, vibrancy, and indulgence associated with this seasonal fruit. The rich color palette, delicate textures, and peach gradients became the foundation for the design exploration.
  3. Multiple design concepts were ideated and refined to capture the essence of summer peaches. Considerations were made to ensure that the new packaging design aligned with the existing brand identity of Eat Delve while also standing out on the Costco Wholesale shelves. Various elements, such as typography, imagery, color schemes, and textures, were explored to find the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.
