Modular Community Hubs Design for Balamban

The designers envision a network of community hubs that will serve as multi-functional centers to increase connectivity between the rural and urban communities of Balamban, Cebu. The design aims to empower citizens and communities which is a 2032 goal stated in Balamban’s Municipal Vision. The proposal will supplement the existing yearly Hatud Pangalagad Program from once a year to an all year round social program. Clustering the 26 barangays into 13 sites, the design aims to be modular and adaptive to each site depending on the needs and the population of the specific cluster.
