For Key Account Managers at consumer goods companies (think Coke or Nestlé) managing a promotional plan throughout the year is a painful, lengthy and admin-heavy job. Our task was to make it easier and more efficient, within our 3 month delivery window.
The Work
I led research to map out the entire annual planning process, combining insights from our user research repository, with new user interviews and stakeholder workshops. I generated several potential solutions to save time and reduce user pain, then collaborated with Product Management and Engineering to refine these into solutions deliverable in 3 months.
The Outcome
We shipped a feature that cut initial plan set-up time by 90%, identified and addressed app performance bottlenecks that improved user satisfaction metrics by 150%, and added 5 fully validated and outlined features to the product roadmap.
