Kotan.B Furniture needed a full-featured e-commerce site that conveys their identity: handcrafted furniture, premium quality, and modern Ghanaian aesthetic. The goal was to build a site that felt warm, elegant, and trustworthy — with smooth shopping flows, strong visuals, and scalability for future growth (custom orders, product expansions, blog).

They wanted a modern hero that reflects their identity and connects emotionally with customers at first glance.

The landing page was structured to highlight their product categories up front, ensuring users can instantly identify what’s available and move directly into browsing.

A CMS was essential for their store because it allows them to update inventory, manage promotions, and publish new arrivals effortlessly. This reduces manual work and ensures the site always reflects their latest products.

Initially, the product images lacked consistency and didn’t reflect the premium quality of the brand. We used AI-driven enhancement techniques to refine the lighting, textures, and staging of the furniture pieces, creating a more coherent and realistic look across the catalog. These improvements helped communicate craftsmanship, elevate brand perception, and make the site feel more trustworthy.

Achieving realistic results meant experimenting with multiple models and prompt variations. Some images came out too stylized, while others lacked detail, so we iterated to find the right balance between enhancement and authenticity. This stage required flexibility, careful tuning, and patience to ensure the visuals aligned with the brand’s modern identity rather than looking artificially generated.

Looking back, I would build a standardized AI prompt library and batch processing workflow to speed up consistency across images and reduce manual refinement.
