Homepage Copy and CTA Repair — Fictional Concept

Self-directed fictional concept. No client engagement or measured conversion results. The cover is an illustrative mockup; the original sample is shown in the project.

The brief

Rewrite a generic service-business homepage so visitors can understand the work offered and the next step. The fictional starting copy relied on broad assurances without explaining the service area or availability.

The approach

The rewrite brings example service details into the headline and supporting text, gives the primary button a specific purpose, and organizes the offer into three service cards. A closing prompt and search-page title and description carry the same message through the handoff.

What was produced and checked

A before-and-after copy report and a one-page visual explanation of the proposed first screen. The PDF was checked for legible text, complete sections and clean spacing. Availability, service-area and trust statements are marked as examples requiring the real business owner's confirmation before use.

Why these choices matter

The result is a concrete set of words and placement recommendations that a business or its web provider can review and apply. This project demonstrates copy clarity and handoff structure; no website was changed and no lift in enquiries or sales is claimed.
Created with substantial Codex assistance for copy, layout and verification.
