Self-directed fictional concept. The restaurant, dishes and prices are invented; no restaurant client or sales results are claimed. The cover is an illustrative mockup; the original sample is shown in the project.
The brief
Make menu information easier to browse without losing a restaurant's visual character. Dish names, descriptions and prices needed a consistent hierarchy and enough room to read comfortably.
The approach
The concept uses a warm ivory background, forest-green type and restrained terracotta accents. Small plates, mains and drinks are separated into clear sections. The browser version uses real, selectable text, so a visitor can use the browser's Find command, enlarge text or jump directly to a menu section.
What was produced and checked
A portable HTML menu and a separate designed PDF preview. Recorded browser checks at phone, tablet and desktop widths found no horizontal overflow or clipped menu content. Section links and keyboard navigation were checked, and the PDF was reviewed for legibility and spacing.
Why these choices matter
The example combines a more inviting presentation with practical ways to read and find menu information. It is a format demonstration, not an ordering system or an accessibility certification. A real restaurant must approve every item, price and dietary statement before publication.
