Problem Statement: Schools often struggle with fragmented systems for managing attendance, grades, communication, and administrative tasks. Teachers, parents, and administrators needed a unified platform to streamline operations and improve collaboration.

Objective: Design a comprehensive school management app that simplifies administrative tasks, enhances communication between teachers and parents, and provides real-time insights into student performance.

Conducted interviews with teachers, parents, and school administrators.

Observed workflows in schools to identify pain points.

Analyzed competitor platforms to identify gaps and opportunities.

Teachers needed a centralized platform to manage attendance, grades, and communication.

Parents wanted real-time updates on their child’s performance and school activities.

Administrators required data-driven insights to make informed decisions.

Challenge: Balancing simplicity with the need for detailed functionality.

Reflection: This project really opened my eyes to the importance of designing for different user groups, each with their own unique needs and workflows. Striking the right balance between simplicity and functionality was tricky, but it taught me so much about creating role-based designs and modular systems. If I had more time, I’d love to explore adding an AI chatbot to help students clear doubts based on their syllabus, as well as gamification features to make learning more engaging and fun for everyone.
