RIVE - App Audio Waveform

Paul du Plessis

The brief:

Create a simplistic audio feedback animation that reacts to the audio levels of the app user.

The most significant need for app users:

- To give the user affirmation of the audio collection. - Make the audio wave react based on the user's loudness. I created a number input: 0=no audio & 100=max volume. The wave then grows based on the number of inputs that the user triggers.

Need for Developers:

- Have a stroke width control for each individual stroke. - Have a number input control for wave height. - Have a width control for the devs to adjust the wave to different screen sizes. - Have a control to switch the secondary strokes on or of. - Colour controls: Have a trigger to make the Opacity 70% and a trigger to make it blue or black.
Below is a GIF with only the animation and width control. PS: you can dabble with the entire experience in the link provided above.

Audio feedback animation created in Rive. The audio waveform reacts based on the volume the user speaks. It is a wonderful experience for the user.
