In 2022, I joined Beans, a B2B coffee marketplace app, as Head of Design, leading all design efforts to enhance the user experience and visual appeal for roasters, coffee shops, and coffee buyers.

To streamline our design process, I was responsible for setting up the design workflow, establishing sprints, Jira workflows, and Confluence design templates.

Close cooperation with Backend and Frontend Developers was essential as we strived for a cohesive and high-quality user experience. By collaborating closely, I helped to bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring that the final product meets our standards of excellence.

While primarily focused on designing the web application, I also extended my attention to designing features for the mobile app. Understanding the unique limitations and possibilities of the mobile platform allowed me to create tailored experiences that cater to users on the go.

In summary, my responsibilities as a product designer at Beans encompassed a multifaceted approach, combining UI redesign, user flow analysis, wireframing and prototyping, design system creation, stakeholder cooperation, design workflow establishment, collaboration with development teams, and designing for both web and mobile platforms.
