AstroForge Website Redesign for Investor and Talent Engagement

Gary Szaszik

Helping AstroForge explain asteroid mining without sounding like NASA

AstroForge, a space mining startup turning sci-fi into reality, needed a website that could speak clearly to investors and future hires. Their old site looked the part but didn’t communicate their mission in a way that built trust or excitement, especially with people outside the aerospace bubble.
They brought me in to rethink everything from structure to design. The goal was to create a site that feels cinematic and confident without sounding like you need a master’s in aerospace to understand it. The result is a fast, focused experience that brings their deep space missions down to Earth.

Challenges we had to overcome

Investor clarity

The old site lacked a clear narrative for potential investors. It didn’t explain the value behind asteroid mining or why this tech was economically viable. We had to build a story that justified the opportunity without sounding like science fiction.

Technical depth

There was incredible engineering behind AstroForge’s missions, but it was buried in vague language and cramped layouts. The challenge was to surface the technical substance in a way engineers would respect, without overwhelming non-technical readers.

Hiring appeal

Finding top-tier aerospace and hardware engineers is hard, especially when your site doesn’t reflect the ambition or vibe of the company. We needed to design a digital experience that felt bold, exciting, and worth joining.

Brand trust

For a company pushing into deep space, first impressions matter. The old site didn’t reflect the scale or seriousness of the work. We had to reposition the brand visually and structurally to feel more real, more human, and more trustworthy.

Strategic Foundation

We reworked the entire structure of the site to make information easier to find, more engaging to consume, and clearer to navigate for every audience. From investors to engineers to future hires, the new flow guides users through a compelling story while also staying flexible enough to scale as AstroForge grows.

Investor Clarity

We expanded the homepage to help investors understand that asteroid mining isn’t science fiction anymore. By showcasing economic viability, mission milestones, and the scale of potential returns, we built a narrative that invites curiosity and builds trust with potential backers.

A structure designed to reveal more the further you explore

We restructured the site to guide users naturally into the technical layers, from the big picture down to the details of spacecraft, mission timelines, and engineering decisions. As you move through the site, the information gets gradually more complex. This helps us speak to investors and the curious, without losing the interest of engineers who want substance.

A site that makes engineers want to join the mission

AstroForge’s biggest challenge isn’t marketing, it’s recruiting the right talent to make asteroid mining a reality. The site had to inspire a new wave of aerospace engineers to care, get excited, and apply. We made sure their mission and achievements felt just as bold online as they are in real life. From showcasing innovation to building career-focused pathways, everything was crafted to make an engineer think, “I want in.”
