Fine Tailors

FineTailors was born out of the client's vision to modernize and simplify the orders management process for tailors. The primary goals were to create a user-friendly platform where tailors could effortlessly add and manage client details, record measurements, update order progress, and provide clients with an interactive view of their design journey. The client aimed for a system that enhanced efficiency and customer communication in the tailoring business.As the architect of FineTailors, I set out to create a progressive web app that seamlessly addressed the client's needs. Leveraging PouchDB on the client side and IBM Cloudant's CouchDB for secure and scalable data storage, I designed a system that allowed tailors to interactively manage clients and orders. Firebase Authentication ensured a secure login process for tailors, putting them in control of their personalized workspace.FineTailors boasts a modern and responsive UI, making order management a breeze for tailors. The system's capability to handle measurements, update orders, and provide clients with a real-time view of their design progress added a layer of transparency and communication previously unmatched in the tailoring industry.FineTailors has proven to be a game-changer in the tailoring business. Tailors using the system experience a significant boost in efficiency, thanks to the intuitive order management features. The interactive client portal fosters a stronger connection between tailors and clients, with real-time updates on design progress.
