The brief
Lazismu needed a campaign that made zakat visible as practical help: food, shelter and rescue when a community faces a flood. The challenge was to show the scale of the crisis without losing sight of the people living through it.
Stay close to the people
A neighbourhood watchman. A mother and daughter above the floodwater. A family waiting under a tarp. The framing stays close enough to read their faces and gestures, giving the crisis a human point of view.
Rain, low light and a cool palette shape the storm sequences. At the relief post, warmer daylight and wider frames make room for the community. That change in light carries the story from danger to support.
Selected frames
The frames below trace that visual progression, from the neighbourhood watch post to the arrival of relief.
Scene 01 / The watch post. Familiar surroundings and a single warm light establish everyday life before the flood becomes the focus.
Scene 02 / A home under water. The mother and daughter share one frame, keeping the danger personal rather than anonymous.
Scene 03 / Through the current. Close framing and rain-obscured detail place the viewer alongside the watchman’s effort to reach safety.
Scene 04 / Temporary shelter. A tighter composition holds the family together beneath the tarp, making the need for shelter immediate.
Scene 05 / Relief arrives. Warmer daylight and a wider frame bring volunteers, supplies and families together: zakat becomes practical help.
Production notes
Xinemind’s contribution: AI VFX.
Production tools: Midjourney and Kling AI.
The visual treatment keeps AI VFX tied to the story: readable human moments, a coherent rain-soaked environment, and a warmer relief sequence. The focus remains on what each image communicates about vulnerability and support.
