Luxe Motors, a luxury travel and motors company have been innovating since 1854. They started in the expertise of assisting in travel developing new ways to broaden their travel methods through motorbikes as a tool.
Despite having a decades of amelioration they were in need of something new and fresh to help propell them into the upcoming years as the change of the industry, forced them to reciporate the same, as it pushes into more other known influences.
Luxe have asked for assistance in the shifting of their brand from a luxury timeless staple reachable to some, to one that opens it door to a higher volume of it's target audience reaching more and in addition stretching it's hands out towards building it's society in a new way.
Luxe want to do more than just make business they want to make change in the world and be an positive impact in the society. They believe in sustainability and that travel, also means to help preserve the beauty the planet has to offer. They have been working on low emissions projects and electric motor vehicles and want to build their goal further.
Areas of Development
Luxe's two main aims are exposure and sustainability.
It is important to understand the who, what and why of any client as this is the heart of the project. It's the spark behind driving force of the engine that will produce creativity and design.
Let's discuss it!
Exposure:
Luxe currently have a wide range of exposure already through legacy, loyalty and word of mouth. Their brand has been known in top 100 companies in Forbes for the last 5 years as its recent work on low emissions has sparked interest amongst the community.
Nevertheless they desire further marketing to be able to grow their exposure and widen their audience.
Solutions:
Billboards - Clean simple display with limited information. Placed in areas that their products would be used. i.e. Open road areas, highways.
The following design gives three main points:

-What the company stands for.TAGLINE
It keeps the company in the audiences mind without too much overload of colours, text or thinking; just big statements to hold on to.
Location - In the nature of already looking to expand and advertise, bringing in new customers to new areas, new dealerships and warehouses will need to be build to bring the product to the customers across the wider locations.
This encourages them to want to travel to their nearest location to be able to find out more about the company. It also allows for them to have a in person experience instead of grabbing their first impressions from a website.
Publications - Already a company featured in magazines and articles it also a great avenue to have written publications for the audience to be updated and aware of what is going on in the company.
Monthly and or weekly subscriptions and or issues for access to all the new and upcoming events within the company, keeping the audience ready and involved in the companies development. This is a perfect opportunity to also point audience in the area of feedback for interactivity and do surveys and or competitions that they can participate in.
Evoking reciprocity allows the audience to be more inclined to want to get more publications for more special rewards and or await for new events of interest to them.
Sustainability
Luxe mission is about speed, luxury and passion but they also focus on sustainability. They have worked on low emissions schemes and producing electric motor vehicles that reduce emissions and helping towards cleaner air for the environment. Further to that, they want to do more within their organisation in line with their products and operations.
Solution:
I had a few different ideas that were pitched for a deeper look into sustainable working and projects but the ideas that were discussed were felt to be too light of a move to what they planned.
After deep discussion with the companies marketing and client partnership team they came to the decision to accept the solution to partner with another company on a sustainability scheme but also keep to their goal of integration within the organisation. Thus COLLABORATION was the solution!
Luxe went into deep research to who they would be able to collaborate with. They were looking for four things:

Sustainability Achievements and Forecast
After much talk and signing off they decided to go into a long term partnership with Layterwood.
Layterwood is a luxury brand specialising in tailoring and leathergoods. They care deeply about using sustainable materials in every area of their business and are looking to continue work with sustainable products, additionally investing in vegan leather options.
So how does it work?
Luxe x Layterwood collaboration is more of a partnership.
They plan to work side by side towards their shared goals and values.
As Layterwood has years in sustainability solutions they are able to help Luxe innovate within this area. As for Luxe, branding and audience is similar to Layterwood, but with more diversity allowing them to reach an audience who are in need of their services. The collaboration allows for both organisations to be able to grow internally as they work together on their project externally.

Impact
After the implementation of exposure and the collaboration for sustainability the brands innovation had increased.
There were two main areas of growth as the company worked on their marketing but also how to connect with their audience in a new way.
Audience
Singular
After marketing strategies allowed for focus on the expansion of their brick and mortar approach, it was clear that their audience had grown and they were introduced to a new world of clients that were just as passionate about luxury and sustainability as they were.
Collab
The exposure to more clients from Layterwood and the sustainability communities they were connected to, built a new set of following digitally. The data showed that a more diverse set of demographics appeared to be attracted, outside their target audience, who wanted the feel and experience of the luxury they provided.
Products
Both through more exposure and their collab with Layterwood the development of their products was necessary. The more feedback they received helped them provide even better service to their clients. Furthermore they were able to under their new target audience better and see how they were not just selling products but they were providing security whether that was in safety or in integrity of promise.
