The brief

Bustem is a New York brand protection company. They find the copycat stores, counterfeit listings, fake ads and impersonator accounts riding on e-commerce brands across Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Instagram and more, then take them down with DMCA and trademark takedowns. Their customers range from startups to 9-figure brands.
Their new site was already in progress when I came in, and the team knew exactly what they liked: light and blue-grey, a dotted globe in the hero, small crafted animations, nothing that looks templated. It started as a homepage trial. After the homepage, they handed me every page.

The homepage

Every section had to fit on one screen and earn its place. Two needed more than polish.
What copycats actually cost you. Three costs, each shown on a screen a founder already knows. A lock screen filling up with lost-sale notifications. A bestseller's rating sliding as one-star reviews stack up. A copycat's ad taking the top Google result for the brand's own name. The motion runs on a small keyframe engine I wrote, so it holds 60fps and pauses when it's off screen.

Can't we do this in-house? Every founder asks it. Instead of a comparison table, there are two live queues: a copycat tracker spreadsheet where the to-dos keep piling up, next to Bustem's takedown queue checking them off.

From scan to booked call

The free brand scan is the main call to action, so I rebuilt the popup as a two-panel report. The form sits on the left and a scan fills in on the right, using the visitor's own domain as they type it. On phones it becomes a bottom sheet with one field per row.
Once someone submits, the booking calendar opens on the same page with their name, email and phone already filled in. There's no second form and no new tab. If the booking widget ever fails to load, it falls back to the booking page so nobody gets stuck.

Every page after the homepage

51 pages in total: solutions, platforms, industries, comparisons, resources, customers and careers. Solution and platform pages share one structure: a hero, one article with a table of contents, graphics inside the article where they explain something, a customer quote, an FAQ, and related links at the end. The Amazon page, for example, opens on a counterfeit seller getting pulled off a listing and the Buy Box coming back.
Copy on every inner page lives in Framer property controls, so the team can edit text in Framer without touching code.

QA before anyone else sees it

Every page was checked at 390, 768, 1024, 1440, 1920 and 2560px, since people read this site on big monitors too. That caught things a quick look misses: unstyled sections flashing on slow first loads, and dropdown menus snapping shut when the mouse cut diagonally toward an item. Before launch, every page got its final URL, a link crawl across all 51 pages came back with zero broken links, the key pages got SEO titles and descriptions, and the redirects were lined up.

Where it landed

The result is one system across the whole site, a scan that turns into a booked call in a couple of clicks, and copy the team can change themselves.
