ABOUT THE PROJECT

This brochure design was created for Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa. This piece is part of a church-wide initiative that Trinity Lutheran is implementing in their church and school. The purpose of this brochure was to give an overview of what the initiative might look like.

CHALLENGES

Since this brochure is not super text heavy, it was challenging to come up with a way of presenting the information that was both informative and visually appealing. The information needed to be conveyed across two spreads that would be tri-folded into a brochure. Using the limited brand guidelines set in place was another challenge.

SOLUTION

For the layout, I wanted to present the information in a way that was organized, helpful, and visually interesting. I used elements already set in place by the brand to lay out a design that the viewer could easily navigate through. In terms of typography, I followed closely to the guidelines already set in place. I made sure to use differing weights and colors to enhance the importance of certain information.
