SECOND SUN: a scroll film for a fictional apéritif brand

The idea

SECOND SUN is a brand film you scroll. A woman in an ochre coat walks into the hour after sunset, tastes a blood orange, and the whole page turns red.
Scroll down and the story plays. Scroll back up and it plays in reverse, frame for frame, so the visitor is the one running the camera. The apéritif is made up for this piece and nothing in it is for sale.

What happens as you scroll

The walk: a title card tears away and she crosses a cream page.
The taste: she lifts a blood orange slice, and it becomes a small red sun.
The second sun: the sun rises inside a frame and floods the page red.
The colonnade: she turns into a silhouette under a halo between red columns.
The curtain: strings of beads drop, then part on her eyes.
The bar: the shelf builds, a bottle tips, and the coupe fills.
The label and the exit: the brand mark lands, she leaves in a blue coat, and ink rises to the end card.

How it is built

One scroll clock drives everything. Every wipe, fade and position is worked out from how far down the page you are, so nothing drifts out of sync and every scene reverses cleanly.
The character and props are generated art cut into separate layers. All of the motion is code, built in React with Framer Motion and bundled with Vite into a single page.
We recorded the whole scroll frame by frame and reviewed it like a film edit. That review is why the beads part around her eyes and the drips fall with real weight.

Made to work for everyone

Two original instrumental tracks score the film. Sound only starts after a tap, the mute choice is remembered, and phones on data saver skip the audio entirely.
Visitors who turn off motion get the scenes as still frames. It was checked on screens from 320 pixels wide up, with no sideways scrolling.
SECOND SUN is a fictional brand and the end card says so. Everything in it was made by GiveMePrompts.

A scroll film for a made-up blood orange apéritif. Eight ink and cut-paper scenes play forward as you scroll down and in reverse as you scroll up.
