Futurense LMS Redesign

Led a complete end-to-end redesign of Futurense’s LMS platform to improve usability, engagement, and overall learning experience. The goal was to transform a cluttered, hard-to-navigate system into a clean, intuitive, and student-friendly product.

The existing LMS had several UX issues that negatively impacted student engagement and usability:

Poor readability due to inconsistent typography and dense content layouts

Weak visual hierarchy, making it difficult to scan and prioritize information

Confusing user flows across key actions like accessing lessons, tracking progress, and navigating modules

High cognitive load, leading to friction in daily usage and reduced retention

As the lead product designer, I owned the redesign end-to-end:

Conducted UX audits to identify usability gaps and friction points

Redesigned information architecture to simplify navigation and content structure

Created wireframes and high-fidelity UI for core LMS experiences

Built a consistent visual system (typography, spacing, components) to improve clarity and hierarchy

Designed a clean, playful interface to make learning more engaging

Optimized key user journeys for speed, clarity, and ease of use

Collaborated with stakeholders to align design with product and business goals

Followed a structured, product-driven design approach:

Audited existing flows and mapped key user journeys

Simplified navigation and reorganized content architecture

Improved visual hierarchy using layout, spacing, and typography systems

Designed reusable, scalable components for consistency

Iterated on critical screens to reduce cognitive load

Focused on making the platform intuitive for both new and returning users
