Moveham Ride-Hailing Platform Design

Moveham is a ride-hailing platform designed to make urban transportation in Nigeria safer, faster, and more reliable. As the Lead Product Designer, I worked end-to-end on product design, branding, and user experience — from defining the visual identity to designing rider and driver apps. The focus was on safety, trust, and seamless payments, giving riders peace of mind and drivers fair opportunities.

In Nigeria and numerous cities across Africa, individuals using ride-hailing services frequently encounter a variety of challenges that can complicate their travel experience:

Safety concerns — difficulty trusting drivers or ensuring a secure trip.

Unclear ride tracking — riders struggle to verify their driver or share trips easily.

Inconvenient payments — reliance on cash or inconsistent payment methods.

Poor user experience — apps often feel cluttered or unintuitive, making booking rides harder than it should be.

Moveham addresses these problems by:

Safety-first features like driver/rider blocking, trip-sharing, and PIN ride verification.

Seamless ride booking with clear navigation, real-time updates, and transparent driver information.

MovePay wallet integration, enabling riders to top-up and pay digitally with local-friendly options.

Simplified, rider-first UX — focusing on clarity, easy onboarding, and minimal friction during trips.

Designed onboarding to be simple and reassuring. Riders quickly set up accounts with two steps, and explore safety options. Drivers go through a step-by-step process that validates documents and information to keep everyone safe. Onboarding ensures both users understand the platform’s benefits while reducing barriers to first-time use.

Ride booking is made for speed and clarity. Riders input destinations, review transparent pricing, and confirm drivers within seconds. Drivers see trip details upfront and can accept rides easily. Integrated maps and live tracking ensure smooth pickups. This design reduces confusion and builds trust by making every step intuitive and predictable.

An HR Management Dashboard is a centralized platform that provides HR professionals with real-time insights into key workforce metrics, employee performance, and organizational trends. It helps streamline HR processes, improve decision-making, and enhance overall employee management

Safety is at the core of Moveham. Riders get live trip sharing, PIN verification, emergency contacts, and panic mode. Drivers benefit from features like muting riders and improved trip verification. These tools build trust and empower users to feel in control at every step, making safety more than just an add-on — it’s a guarantee.

Movepay is the wallet powering seamless payments on Moveham. Riders can top up, pay, and track ride expenses directly in the app. Drivers receive quick payouts and transparent earnings history. With local currency support and secure transactions, Movepay removes friction from payments, making rides faster and more reliable for everyone.

After every trip, riders can rate drivers with feedback while drivers also rate riders for accountability. Receipts are automatically stored in Movepay, and users can review ride history anytime, contact for support. The post-ride process reinforces safety, fairness, and trust, creating a transparent ecosystem where both riders and drivers feel respected and valued.
