π PW Institute of Innovation (PW IOI) β Registration Flow Redesign
Project Type: UX/UI Redesign
Target Audience: 12th Grade Students & Parents
Programs Offered: School of Management & School of Technology
π Project Overview:
PW IOI aims to provide a cutting-edge educational experience for students after class 12 through its School of Management and School of Technology. However, the original registration flow was clunky and disengaging, leading to high drop-off rates during form completion.
I was brought in to audit and redesign the entire registration experience to improve user retention, clarity, and completion rates.
π‘ What I Did:
UX Audit: Identified pain points in the original user journeyβlack of form clarity, overwhelming layout, and poor mobile experience.
Streamlined Registration Flow: Broke the long form into digestible steps with a clear progress tracker to reduce cognitive load.
Improved Navigation: Added a step-by-step sidebar so users always know where they are in the process.
Responsive Layout: Ensured the registration flow is fully optimized for desktop and mobile users.
Visual Hierarchy: Prioritized readability and intuitive grouping of fields (e.g., guardian info, student info, course selection, and payment).
Confirmation & Feedback Screens: Designed a clean confirmation step with transparent payment information and next steps.
β¨ Outcome:
Improved form completion rates due to clearer structure and guidance.
Reduced user friction during registration.
Enhanced overall trust and professionalism of the brand via updated visual design and UI consistency.
