Good SaaS design works.
Great SaaS design disappears.
Here's what I mean:
Good design:
– Users can find what they need
– The flow makes logical sense
– It looks professional and clean
Great design:
– Users don't notice the design at all
– They just feel like the product "gets" them
– New users figure it out without a tutorial
– Power users move fast without thinking
The gap between good and great
isn't more features or more polish.
It's ruthless clarity about
what the user needs to do next
and making that one thing
impossible to miss.
That's the standard I hold every screen to.
