Brand keywords: Calm Strength, Balance, Transition, Synergy, Evidence-Based, Hormone-Free, Natural, Premium, Grounded, Supportive, Trustworthy
WHAT? Everbloom creates hormone-free menopause support supplements designed to help women navigate hormonal transition with more balance, clarity and control. Their first product, EASE, is a plant-based formula with 60 capsules, built around synergistic ingredients that work together to support the body’s natural adaptation process.
WHY? To help women feel supported through menopause without fear-based messaging, exaggerated claims or “quick-fix” promises - offering a calm, evidence-informed daily foundation for a stage of life often misunderstood or oversimplified.
FOR WHO? Women in perimenopause and menopause, mainly around 40-55, who are informed, skeptical of supplement hype, and looking for a product that feels trustworthy, mature, natural and premium.

Creative Direction Process

Before starting the pouch design, I created two moodboard directions to help the client choose the right visual route with clarity instead of jumping straight into design.
The first direction, Transition - Synergy - Balance, was built around the meaning of the Dutch word “overgang” - transition, shift or passage from one state to another. It explored soft gradients, flowing forms and warm transitions to represent the menopause journey, while also reflecting how EASE works as a formula: each ingredient complements the others to create a more balanced whole. This was the direction we proceeded with.
The second direction, Quiet Wellness Luxury, focused on a more natural and apothecary-inspired expression. It used ingredient-led photography, natural textures, warm neutrals, olive greens and plum accents to communicate a plant-based, grounded and premium supplement.

Strategic Insights

Menopause is a transition, not a failure - The brand needed to move away from the common “fix your symptoms” language and instead reflect menopause as a natural shift where the body needs support, balance and understanding.
The Dutch market feels clinical, repetitive and crowded - Many competitors rely on white/green supplement codes, bottles, symptom claims and functional ingredient lists. This opened space for Everbloom to feel more premium, modern and emotionally intelligent.
The target audience needs trust before beauty - These women are experienced, skeptical and often tired of products that overpromise. The packaging had to feel calm, clear and credible at first glance, while still standing out online.

Solution

→ Everbloom’s packaging direction was built around the idea of supporting transition through balance.
Instead of making the product look like another traditional menopause supplement, the visual direction uses a soft gradient form as the main graphic element - symbolizing movement from fogginess to clarity, intensity to calm and instability to steadiness.
The design approach feels clean, spacious and premium, with enough visual warmth to feel human and supportive. It connects the emotional experience of menopause with the product’s formulation story: a synergistic blend of natural ingredients working together, not isolated quick-fix effects.
This creates packaging that feels modern, trustworthy and differentiated in the Dutch market - while still staying aligned with Everbloom’s calm, evidence-informed and hormone-free positioning.
