Key highlights

New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) is the largest school system in America with over 1,600 schools and just under 1 million students enrolled.
NYCPS wanted a website that showcased the vast amount of video content that they have had produced over the years that highlights the success stories of the schools, students, and families within the school system. Their administrative staff handled the content strategy, while I worked on the overall design strategy and Webflow development.
Working closely with the administrative staff, I was responsible for:
Building the site in Webflow: Designing numerous static page content and dozens of multi-reference CMS Collections in Figma with a detail-oriented, responsive, and SEO-oriented product.
Migrating all content away from WordPress: Including ~500+ videos, articles, newsletters, and more.
Integrating external functionalities: Integrating external dependencies such as GSAP for custom interactive components, and Finsweet's Attributes V2 to power a robust technical search interface.
Training the team: Empower the team to confidently manage and update the website in Webflow, while leaving the design work to me.
SEO performance: Ensuring optimized SEO strategies during and after the migration.
