Overview:
PedalPay, a product of Content Knights, is a cycling rewards platform designed to make sustainable commuting more engaging and rewarding. Cyclists earn credits for every kilometer ridden and every gram of CO₂ saved, redeemable for real-world discounts at local partner stores.
I led the end-to-end mobile product design, from research and ideation to high-fidelity interactive prototypes, with a strong focus on user motivation, retention, and reward transparency.
Key Contributions:
Full Mobile App Flow Design: Created all screens covering onboarding, user type selection, goal setting, home dashboard, challenges, leaderboard, rewards marketplace, partner store listings, and account settings.
Gamification Systems: Designed challenges, streaks, milestone badges, and a credits leaderboard to encourage healthy competition and consistent riding.
Rewards & Vendor Experience: Built clear, user-friendly redemption flows with visible credit-to-euro conversion rates, vendor profiles, and min-spend requirements for transparency.
Real-Time Ride Tracking: Designed experiences for both manual and auto ride detection, including in-app and push notifications to keep users informed even when they’re not in the app.
Post-Ride Summaries: Created engaging ride completion screens showing distance, CO₂ saved, calories burned, credits earned, and a monetary equivalent.
Quick Actions on Home: Integrated modules for Top Deals Near You, Latest Activity, Credit Value, and Partner Stores to drive discovery and engagement.
Accessibility: Added features like text scaling, voice command support, and simplified iconography to make the app inclusive for a wider audience.
Notification Ecosystem: Designed a wide range of contextual and event-based notifications — from daily goals and new challenges to leaderboard updates and partner offers.
Continuous Iteration: Maintained an open feedback loop with the founder, adjusting flows and visuals based on new insights and priorities.
