The Cool* Job: The Life of a Last Responder

I currently work as a forensic (death) investigator with a county medical examiner's office. When people hear about my job, they are fascinated and always tell me what I do is so cool. I do accept their compliments, because I know what I do is unique and intriguing. However, people's inital interest overshadows the dark reality of this job. So, in order to shed some light on that side of my job, I wrote a blog post going into some small details about what I actually do.
