Equality in Every Choice is a social awareness campaign designed to address systemic issues like Equal Pay, the Pink Tax, and Reproductive Rights. By placing bold visuals in everyday public spaces, the campaign encourages people to reflect on how these issues impact their daily lives. The goal is to spark conversation and advocate for gender equity through accessible and engaging design.
Creative Process – What is your reasoning behind these design choices?
The use of bold pink tones is intentional — while often associated with femininity, the color is reclaimed as a symbol of empowerment and strength.
Typography choices are loud and commanding, ensuring the messaging captures attention in busy environments.
Staircases, trash cans, and bus stops were chosen as placement areas because they are unavoidable and integrated into daily routines, making the message harder to ignore.
Visual representations of the Pink Tax highlight the cost disparities between products marketed to women and men, making the issue tangible and relatable.
The campaign’s approachable design and conversational tone invite dialogue rather than confrontation, encouraging viewers to think critically and take action.
