Learning Zapier + HubSpot Automation

Today I built a practical automation workflow using Zapier and HubSpot.

The goal was simple: whenever a contact is created or updated in HubSpot, Zapier automatically sends an email notification.

What I completed:

• Connected HubSpot to Zapier • Configured the “Contact Recently Created or Updated” trigger • Set up an outbound email action • Mapped contact information into the email body • Tested the workflow to confirm the trigger was working correctly

Key takeaway:

This project introduced me to working with real application integrations and multi-step automation workflows. It also helped me understand how businesses automate notifications and keep teams informed without manual follow-up.
