Project Brief

BlueJeans by Verizon is a SaaS company offering video calling as a service to largely B2B companies. This decade has helped to develop & deliver products very efficiently by simply borrowing an existing capability and integrating it into your product.

Current Issues

Onboarding Experience - Since BlueJeans by Verizon is a Audio Video first company - users who wanted to access developer tools had to apply for a developer license - which would take at least 2 weeks to be green lit. Once green lit it would have very limited functionality

Login and Onboarding Experience

We designed an onboarding experience which would onboard the user in just 3 steps. This reduced the steps required to onboard by 70% and along with this a zero waiting time. Previously the developers had to wait for 15 days to be granted a developer licence

In order to get users acquainted with the Developer Portal - We created a custom FTUX journey

Dashboard everything is just a click away

Motivated by a string of common requests collected during user interviews we designed the Dashboard which would help a developer connect to the different parts of the developer ecosystem, via the navigation bar. Along with this all the important information relevant to the developer is provided as soon as they land on the dev portal.

Simplifying Account Management

We designed a transformative account management system. A user can seamlessly modify subscription plans, view detailed billing history, update payment information, and adjust recording space—all through intuitive self-service controls.

Special Access for Developers

We designed special access for Developers which could be granted from within the portal

Resource Centre

For something that is this new - it is guaranteed that developers would need a lot of help in collecting the required resources. To solve for this we developer the resource centre where all the important resources required for integrating BlueJeans API and SDK are present

Accessibility in Mind

Accessibility was always kept it in mind when working on the developer portal as we wanted it to be used by eveyone and I strongly believe in creating accessible products
