Project Goal:
Sweet Sums needed to strike a balance between professionalism and playfulness, ensuring the brand was taken seriously while also appealing to its target demographic of creative, entrepreneurial women.
Brand Strategy
Leveraged the imagery of a strawberry to design a brand that communicates vibrancy and freshness, appealing directly to creative professionals who might typically view accounting as dull or overly formal.
Target Audience:
Focused on creative female entrepreneurs looking for an accounting service that understands their unique business needs and speaks their language.
Messaging:
Developed brand messaging that incorporates juicy puns and vibrant language to make financial discussions more engaging and less intimidating.
Brand Identity Refresh
Logo Design:
Created a typographic logo paired with a '+' logo mark, nodding to the addition symbol in accounting, which integrates seamlessly into the visual identity.
Colour Palette:
Chose a palette of feminine hues that reflect the brand’s fresh, strawberry-inspired theme, making it stand out from more traditional accounting firms.
Marketing Materials:
Ensured all communications, from business cards to digital ads, carried the lively, engaging tone with puns and playful language to reinforce the brand's unique approach.
Outcome and Results
Achieved a harmonious visual identity that resonates with the target audience, successfully combining professional accuracy with creative flair.
