The Challenge

The client’s original name was not distinctive enough and was already being used by several brands across different industries. This posed a challenge in creating a unique identity that would stand out and be easily recognized. The goal was to come up with a fresh, memorable name that reflected the brand's core values and would differentiate it from competitors.

My Approach

I began by researching the competitive landscape to understand the naming trends within the industry and beyond. This helped identify commonalities and gaps in naming conventions, providing insight into how we could stand out. After analyzing the brand’s essence, vision, and target audience, I brainstormed a list of names that conveyed uniqueness, relevance, and alignment with the brand's mission.

The Process

Reviewed the existing name’s limitations and brand positioning
Developed a list of new names that were distinctive, meaningful, and resonant with the target audience
Ensured the names were available for domain registration and trademark purposes
Tested the names for memorability, ease of pronunciation, and emotional impact

WHY: The name Bonom draws inspiration from the Romanian word for a kind, gentle, and simple person—someone who embodies goodness and integrity. This name was chosen for its strong emotional connection to trustworthiness, simplicity, and a customer-centric approach, values that are crucial in the real estate industry. For a real estate business, Bonom communicates a sense of reliability and warmth, offering a refreshing departure from the often impersonal, transactional nature of the market. The name reflects the company’s commitment to treating clients with care, transparency, and honesty, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way in their property journey.

WHY: The name Arcana is derived from the Latin word for "secret" or "mystery," and it evokes a sense of privacy, exclusivity, and specialized knowledge. In the context of a real estate business, Arcana symbolizes the exclusive, high-end nature of the properties offered—locations that are hidden gems, known only to a select few. Just as the word "arcana" refers to secrets or mysteries accessible only to the initiated, the name reflects the business’s commitment to offering private, premium properties that cater to discerning clients seeking exclusivity and discretion in their real estate investments.

WHY: The name Vitality draws from the concept of life force, energy, and strength, both in English and Romanian. In the real estate context, Vitality symbolizes the vibrant, dynamic nature of the properties offered, emphasizing a sense of liveliness and long-term value. Just as vitality refers to the vigor and power of life itself, the name reflects a real estate business committed to offering properties that embody enduring value, sustainability, and active growth. These properties are not only places to live but are also spaces that foster a thriving lifestyle, providing clients with lasting vitality in their living environment.
