Emperor Insulation is a professional company based in Michigan, USA, specializing in insulation services. To showcase their exceptional services more broadly and attractively, we decided to redesign their website.

Our creative director / Web Designer Ian entrusted me with the task of designing attention-grabbing 3D animated assets. Given its compatibility with Webflow, we proceeded with the 3D asset creation using Spline.

Emperor Insulation is dedicated to ensuring year-round comfort in homes through their innovative solutions that promote energy efficiency and sustainability.

To visually communicate the message that homes without proper insulation incur excessive energy costs throughout the seasons, we created a 3D animation depicting money flowing out of a house and the changing seasons.

To ensure optimal loading speed for the website, it was essential to minimize data size without compromising on quality.

Therefore, instead of using lights to depict the light leaking from the house, we applied materials directly to the windows.

This approach effectively reduced the overall data size, ensuring efficient performance while maintaining visual appeal.

To depict the winter season, we added a looped snow animation using particles.

By utilizing the particle feature, we efficiently represented falling snow with minimal data size, maintaining both visual fidelity and performance.
