Overview This file management dashboard was designed to help users access the right files at the right time with minimal friction. Combining a clean interface, clear storage tracking, and context-aware file suggestions, the layout ensures that both casual and power users can navigate and act quickly without feeling overwhelmed. The visual hierarchy is precise, with critical actions like uploading, creating folders, and checking storage status placed in easy-to-reach spots.

The Problem Traditional file management platforms often overwhelm users with long lists of files and folders, offering no guidance on what to open next. This lack of prioritization forces users to rely on memory or manual searching, increasing decision fatigue and slowing productivity especially for those managing multiple high-priority projects.

The Solution This design applies the Confident Recommendation principle from GoodUI.org: Instead of presenting choices as optional, confidently recommend the best option for the user. This is implemented by replacing generic labels like “Usually opened” with “Recommended Files You’ll Need Next” and “Last opened” with “Continue Where You Left Off.” These subtle yet powerful changes guide users toward the most relevant files instantly, building trust in the system’s intelligence and minimizing hesitation.
