AmHarta

AmHarta is an upcoming Filipino-American Twitch streamer who seasonally rotates genres of survival games, rogue-likes, and RTS.

Problem: AmHarta came to us looking for a brand identity that didn't follow copy-and-paste Twitch themes and assets that other streamers often use. He wanted a brand identity that was unique to him and his Filipino culture. He also wanted to stand out from thousands of other streamers

Goals/Requirements: • To create a full-service brand identity rooted in Filipino pride for upcoming Twitch streamer, AmHarta. AmHarta, an alter alias of his last name, means “to follow the map.” • Make a brand identity that not only references cartography but also the client’s Filipino culture.

Logo: This logo features half of a compass rose in front of two symmetrical mountains. The number two symbolizes teamwork and positivity, both traits that AmHarta embraces in his streams. AmHarta is displayed in a retro serif font, with the connecting letters symbolizing connection and community. Lastly, the icon is similar to the Philippine sun flag.

Pattern backgrounds are dotted lines, in reference to cartography. Additionally, Twitch emotes are animated longanisa soldiers, a Filipino chorizo delicacy.

AmHarta's followers have increased by 150 since working with them last July. Additionally, he has reported feeling more confident about streaming because he has unique graphics. His fellow streamers and following have also complimented him on his new branding.

This was my first brand identity created for a Twitch streamer. It was very exciting and rewarding to be able to make branding for a fellow Filipino! This was a project that was outside of my comfort zone because a. I never made Twitch emotes/Twitch assets before and b. Amharta's style was more masculine. However, we both love how the final product came out and I definitely would like to do other Twitch branding in the future if possible!
