Designing for borderless finance

Onboard is a simple wallet, built as a financial platform for onchain builders and creators

As a founding designer, I led design on the exchange team, where I redesigned the selling experience to reduce time to sell assets between customers/merchants from 15-25mins by 75 - 80%, to about 3 mins.

+ Using data from customer insights (via interviews over Meets, usability testing sessions, etc.) to inform design ideations optimizations,

+ A lot of ambiguity when customers navigated to the home screen to sell an asset, it wasn't clear what the difference between payment channels

+ While selling, the context isn’t always clear, too much info to keep in mind and the next step in the flow is immediately obvious

+ This caused longer times to sell assets; friction in the flow; eventually people weren't funding their wallets regularly

+ I redesigned the experience of how the steps it took a customer to go from their home screen to deciding what asset to sell

+ Clearer information about the differences between payment channels: especially timeline and fee

+ I improved the information hierarchy on the order details screen while converting between assets and integrated the new InstantPay feature throughout the app, for 85% faster conversation than the older method

I designed emails for marketing the launch of new products with Figma. I also implemented and built the emails in customer.io editor, tested across various email clients before sharing with the growth manager for publishing
