Cutting through the outstretched arms, beige palettes and inspirational quotes of the health & wellness space to deliver a vivid identity for an emerging personal recovery advocate.
Activate Recovery is the brain child of long time health enthusiast, Andrew, a man with the desire to see his community connect with that healthier and happier version of themselves that we all seem to be chasing but never catching.
Our early collaborations delved deep into some core human emotions and attitudes as we looked to unearth a strategic position to launch into the identity from. Balance came to be a re-occurring theme that we would explore and use to underpin our visual identity direction.
The relationship in typography speaks to a balance and structure.
The vivid palette was necessary to speak to a positive and forward thinking tone whilst breaking away from the dull beiges of the health & wellness space. Vibrant photography features both human subjects and clean environmental details, providing a point of connection to the subject matter.
The theme of balance is present in the varying typographic style used throughout the identity. The combination of the serif and san serif typefaces speak to this idea of balance in life, while providing a level of structure and character to layouts.
The vivid turquoises provide a distinct centre point for the brand.
The primary logotype speaks to a forward thinking system
The brands cornerstone, the logotype and mark, were crafted to evoke feelings of balance, structure and progression toward a better version of ones self. The mark is versatile and allows for use of the brand at all scales being able to stand alone and fit within the main logotype.
