“Heart To Heart” App Case Study

About the Problem
Relationships are hard work. In Western societies, it is estimated that one in two marriages end in divorce. Mine for example too.
Research appearing in the journal Evolutionary Psychology found that ‘fading enthusiasm’ is one of the most common problem area that prevent people from staying together. Also they estimate that only 30% of adults find it easy to maintain long-term romantic relationships.
About the project
Heart To Heart app is designed to help couples enhance their relationships by generating personalized date ideas tailored to their preferences, as well as offering interactive question-based games.
Process
During the research phase of the design process, I conducted a competitive market analysis. Additionally, I carried out several interviews with individuals at different stages of their relationships, from those just starting out to couples who have been married for over 30 years.
User Persona
Wireframe Sketching Once I had the basics down, I moved on to sketching wireframes. This part was key for seeing how the app would look and flow, and it gave the stakeholders a clear idea of where the design was heading.
Prototyping Turning static wireframes into clickable prototypes was a game-changer for checking how usable and functional the designs were. Using tools like Figma, I built interactive app models for testing and gathering feedback.
