Medlar: premium tea identity and packaging

The brief
Medlar is a retail tea brand. Its CTC black tea is grown, processed and made in the Nilgiris for everyday household drinking, and sold across Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. The name means connecting to change.
The mark
A wordmark with two ideas built in. Tea plant leaves rise above the d, showing the product and that it is organic. A heart with a pulse sits inside the e, for a healthy heart, one of the benefits of drinking tea.
The system
Leaf green and warm yellow, a badge label over a tea-garden scene, and packaging carried across boxes, stationery and apparel.
