Overview
Sift builds tools for fraud prevention. Using ML, Sift generates signals showing how likely an order might be fraudulent. The console includes a rule system and tools for manual fraud reviews and caters to multiple industries beyond e-commerce.
Product Context
Sift console had been built primarily for e-commerce, but as the company expands to other sectors, we needed to identify the opportunities and revise the console accordingly to allow for rapid expansion.
The Challenge
Redesign the console to fit our latest research findings. Every part of the console was researched: 150+ customer calls, a product audit, and a competitive analysis helped generate a clearer view of what needs to be revised, like adding customization to tables. In addition, a new look and feel were introduced.
The Solution
Thorough research allowed us to see how the console is being used, what elements are incompatible with other industries, and what tooling we need to design to assist with it (customizable tables, toolkits for teams to produce bespoke solutions as needed, custom dashboard and report generator, etc)
