CCCU Bank - Mobile App Design

CCCU competes directly with traditional banking that has a larger reach and influence over the masses, what makes CCCU solution special, is that they offer services for the fewer that feels the need to make banking with companies that offer Christian values of honesty, care, and with a company that focuses on people over profit, service over sales.

For this vision to be even more successful, a great design for their banking app would be another incentive factor for their members to feel even happier with their decision to be part of CCCU.

I solved at the highest level the problem of outdated design for this bank app, and created a more reachable design.

Goals/Requirements: The following processes that helped get this project to the finish line.

The inspiration for this project was based on research for Customer Value Proposition done by the International Finance Corporation - World Bank Group and by a study of Usability Evaluation done by the International Journal of Computer Science and Network Security in Pakistan.

This project aimed to demonstrate that Mobile Banking Applications (MBAPs) are an outstanding possibility to extend choice to users so they can have the freedom to choose even banking apps that most relate to their beliefs. This extension of reach and availability can help users understand that, so far, there is not just a linear choice when it comes to banking.

To reach a successful conclusion for this project was used the Qualitative Methodology, in which data were collected through participant observation and interviews, leading to the resulting data being reported and used for the understanding of user behaviour. During this project research, it was also used Quantitative Methodology in which data were analysed through numerical comparisons and statistical inferences.

The process was divided into 3 steps that were: discovery, design, and testing.

This project research was only an introduction to extensive research that can happen if this project moves forward to implementation.
