Versos ao tempo
This book was born from the dream of my father, who is an active participant in music and poetry festivals in the state. In 1986 he competed for the first time in FECANI – Festival da Canção de Itacoatiara, with the song: 'Pulsos de aço', which won the Award for best crowd at the festival, took third place in 1989 with the song: 'Liberdade', in 2019 he was the great champion of Fecani Itacantando with the song "Mártires", where he also won best lyrics.
Composer with the highest number of participations in the festival. He was also awarded at FECANON – Nova Olinda do Norte Song Festival - and obtained third place with the song: 'Corpos'. At CONPOFAI – Itacoatiara Spoken Poetry Competition his poem: ' Amor de Índio', was placed third. He was also awarded in several Samba plot and Carnival Marchinhas competitions in Itacoatiara, in several categories.
The work 'Verses ao tempo', by the composer and poet Lizioney Libório, has as its main source of inspiration the loving lyricism inserted in a whole of his creations, one can notice in them the nostalgia for a past, sometimes not too distant, referring to the moments of suffering, nostalgia and loneliness in countless aspects; Accompanied by an overwhelming desire for change, for renewal, so necessary in times of hopelessness: the right to happiness or at least the right to fight for it.
There are also compositions created especially to praise the love and gratitude to special people in your family and close friends, poems recited at various literary festivals in your city; and productions of a social nature, to raise awareness among readers regarding the disregard for the preservation of greenery in our region; as well as several very current criticisms regarding controversial and delicate political issues in Brazil.
The work has 60 authorial poems collected throughout his career, in addition to the poems themselves, some illustrations in his poems were made by me, to enhance this work even more.
This was a 100% independent project where we managed to organize the poems and create the entire structure of the book, I was able to edit and create all the illustrations present in the book with all the love and freedom.
This is, without doubt, one of the most beautiful life projects I have ever participated in and it moves us every time we remember it. ❤️
