SPOT - Your personal shopping assistant

Embarking on a project with SPOT, the innovative mobile shopping app was nothing short of a thrilling ride for our team. This unique platform acts as a bridge, connecting enthusiastic shoppers to the products and brands they adore, while also providing them with timely notifications about special deals and discounts. 

The essence of SPOT is encapsulated in the motto, "Being at the right spot at the right time", and our mission was to infuse this principle into every aspect of the brand.

Kickstarting the journey with SPOT's brand colors, we set out to create a distinct and impactful visual identity. The mint green hue, along with the balancing tones of black and white, formed a harmonious palette that was not only engaging but also perfectly complemented the brand's playful yet professional character.

The logo was our first task, and we aimed to encapsulate the brand's philosophy into this key visual element. The result was a sleek and dynamic logo that spoke volumes about the brand's commitment to timely delivery of customer satisfaction. The locator icon showcased perfectly the motto and their goal.

Next, we ventured into the territory of branding. We ensured that the lively and interactive nature of SPOT was reflected across all brand elements. Each branding decision, from typography to color use, was made with the aim to resonate with the audience and to capture the fun and exciting journey of finding the perfect deal.

Turning our attention to wireframes, we crafted the foundation for a seamless and intuitive user interface. Each wireframe was designed meticulously, keeping in mind SPOT's primary aim to connect users with their beloved brands effortlessly.

As we moved on to designing the interface, we kept the focus on creating a user experience that was not only visually pleasing but also intuitively functional. We designed separate interfaces for both iOS and Android versions of the app, ensuring the app's usability on multiple platforms.

Parallelly, we also crafted a unique, user-friendly interface for the desktop portal. Given the dual nature of the portal – a client-facing side and a consumer side – we carefully designed each interface to cater to the specific needs and preferences of its users, while maintaining a consistent design language.

Ensuring the desktop portal was secured with login and membership access, we designed it with an emphasis on data protection and user privacy. The gated access added an extra layer of security, thus strengthening users' trust in the brand.

Overall, our work with SPOT presented us with the unique opportunity to create a comprehensive digital brand identity - from logo and branding to wireframes, UX/UI design for mobile and desktop versions, and the implementation of secure access systems.

Reflecting on our journey with SPOT, we realize that this project truly embodied the spirit of our team - a blend of creativity, fun, and professionalism. This project not only allowed us to express our design capabilities fully but also reinforced the importance of truly understanding a brand's core essence to deliver designs that resonate with its audience.
