Hanagasumi is a conceptual matcha branding project inspired by the Japanese phenomenon of flower haze — when blooming sakura trees create a soft veil across the landscape. Rather than following traditional matcha branding built around bright greens and energy-focused messaging, this concept explores calmness, refinement, and intentional living.
The visual identity combines soft neutrals, Japanese-inspired aesthetics, and premium packaging design to create a more elevated and contemplative matcha experience. Hanagasumi celebrates the beauty of slowing down, transforming matcha from a productivity tool into a daily ritual.
