Research Agents That Keep the Evidence Connected

Research is more useful when its evidence survives the next handoff. Wild Pines is developing Pinecone to keep source material, working context and recorded results connected as research agents carry work forward.
The design separates source evidence, each research role’s working context and the durable records used to continue execution. That makes it possible to revisit what supports a finding without relying on an agent’s summary as the source. We have paired this architecture with evaluation work that asks whether results preserve the facts they are meant to carry, beyond simply producing a valid response.
Shared sources keep their provenance. Each actor’s memory and understanding are scoped to its own work. Durable ledgers retain the authoritative claims and results.

Internal research system in development. The diagrams explain the design; they are not performance benchmarks or claims of completed customer research.
