By the Moon is a cacao ceremony and education practice run by Paulė Tamašauskaitė, based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The goal of the project was to build a new website from scratch that could explain her offerings clearly, present pricing and event info without friction, and let her manage upcoming events herself.

I designed the site in Figma and built it as a responsive Framer site, with a lightweight CMS connected to Notion so events can be added without touching the site directly.

Before any design work, I used a UX questionnaire to define her goals and audience directly in her own words. From that two distinct groups emerged: individuals seeking a personal ritual experience and companies looking for team events. The site needed to serve both without splitting into two separate paths.

Brand identity was already set, she had a logo and color palette she wanted to keep. The work was structural: turning her offerings, pricing, and event info into something a first-time visitor could understand quickly.

I worked directly in Figma to structure the offerings and translate the discovery findings into pages people could actually navigate.

I kept the design close to industry-standard patterns for service pages: clear navigation, a homepage that leads straight into services, and each offering laid out with the same key info visitors need to decide: what it is, how long it takes, what's included, and price. Familiarity mattered more than novelty here; the goal was for a visitor to understand what they're booking without having to work for it.

Some of her original content had more complexity than it needed. Her pricing, for example, used a different formula per group size; I simplified it into a single formula with one break point, applying the same logic to trim overly specific activity durations elsewhere on the site.

I built the site in Framer, translating the Figma structure into a responsive, live experience — moving from static components to building directly in Framer once that became the more efficient way to iterate.

Paulė needed to publish and update events herself, so I built a small CMS tied to Notion, letting her manage her event calendar directly without needing design or dev support.

The site is actively maintained, not static. When Paulė wanted to surface more reviews, I replaced the original carousel with a moving ticker, so more testimonials are visible without requiring interaction.

Site launched in about a month, including CMS setup for self-managed events
