Role I was responsible for the entire project, from concept to launch. This included designing the site layout, user experience, and branding- down to creating a bespoke logo. I built the website using Wix Studio, ensuring a smooth, responsive design that feels both professional and approachable.

Challenge My client, a CBT therapist and owner of CBT4ME, needed a website that could clearly present the wide range of services offered, from 1-to-1 therapy to workshops and corporate programs. The main challenge was how to communicate sensitive mental health topics in a way that felt approachable, visually engaging, and emotionally resonant. The design had to balance professionalism with warmth, creating a light atmosphere around a subject that can sometimes feel uncomfortable or heavy.

Creative Process Working closely with my client, we defined a soft pastel colour palette to set a calming, approachable tone. Rather than using stock images, we decided that custom illustrations would best convey the complexity of mental health. Using my advanced skills in AI tools like MidJourney, I created a series of bespoke illustrations that visualised abstract concepts, such as different mental states, in a way that feels relatable and visually engaging. This approach allowed us to communicate sensitive themes with lightness, creativity, and clarity.

Process Because the site needed to communicate a large amount of information, I focused on creating layouts that kept the content clear and engaging. Each page was custom-designed to suit its purpose, with unique layouts that avoided repetition while still feeling cohesive as part of the overall site. Every illustration on the site was carefully created to match the topic it needed to address. The combination of thoughtful layout and bespoke visuals makes navigation easier and more enjoyable for users.
