NQ Simulations

For this project, I conducted 18 simulations on the NQ (E-mini Nasdaq-100 futures) using various settings over a two-month duration. My objective was to identify any patterns or consistencies among specific settings, time of day, and day of the week. By analyzing the gathered data, my aim is to develop a profitable trading strategy over a sustained period of time.

Data was extracted from the simulation program each day as csv files then imported into spreadsheets. I had ChatGPT write a script to upload new files from a specified folder into each spreadsheet template that I created using VLOOKUP formulas. Each simulation had its own respective spreadsheet to keep everything tidy. Once everything was completely imported I thoroughly cleaned and validated all data then created an aggregated data spreadsheet using IMPORTRANGE formulas. The dataset was then imported to Tableau and I began creating my visualizations and started analyzing patterns and trends in the data.
