DocSpace's Initial Customer Acquisition

DocSpace was building for a specific niche, mental health professionals that want to start their own independent practice journey. Our goal was to get these professionals actively starting their own practice using our platform. So we acquired the first 50 customers by starting a fellowship. This 6 week fellowship would allow mental health professionals to get training and mentorship from experts in their field and give them the knowledge and confidence to start their own practice.
Goals/Requirements: • The mental health professional is licensed in their state • The mental health professional is willing to start their own practice • The mental health professional is willing to commit to a 6-week fellowship

Send out emails with additional information, process, and guidelines

By the date of the deadline we had 23% more applicants than we expected and surpassed our goal. We were able to conduct a 6 week fellowship with 50 mental health professionals while also simultaneously working with experts that served as mentors.
